Account statements (PDF and slip)
A statement is the history of a customer’s account: the opening balance for the period, every credit and payment, and what is still owed. Baki Fast makes it in seconds as an A4 PDF or a thermal slip.
Updated:
What is on a statement?
- Your shop’s name, phone, address and tax number (if you added them)
- The customer’s name and the period (this month, last month, last 3 months or all)
- Opening balance, every dated entry, items and notes
- Total credit, total payments and the balance left
Every statement has a small Baki Fast line at the bottom. With Pro, your own logo, bank details and note go at the top.
How do you send it?
- On the customer’s account, tap Statement.
- Choose the period and the format: A4 PDF, 80 mm or 58 mm.
- Share it by WhatsApp, e-mail or any app; or print it.
Thermal slips and receipts
You can print a receipt for a single payment, or a narrow statement for the whole account. If you have a Bluetooth thermal printer, printing with Print Fast gives the clearest result.
Why does a statement help?
If a customer asks "was it really that much?" at the end of the month, a dated history ends the argument. For wholesalers and tradespeople, a statement also helps accounts get settled faster: the customer sees what they are paying for.
No app? You can still make a short statement: the account statement generator makes a PDF in your browser.
Questions
Is a statement an official document?
No. A statement is the history of the account between two sides; it does not replace an invoice or an official accounting record.
Can different currencies go on one statement?
Each currency is shown on its own statement, so the totals never mix.
Can the PDF be printed?
Yes. The statement is A4 size and prints on any printer.
