Cash book
"What came into the till today, what went out, and how much should be in it?" The Cash tab in Baki Fast answers that, and it works together with your credit book.
Updated:
Money in, money out
There are two big buttons: Money in (cash sales, payments from customers, other income) and Money out (stock purchases, rent, bills, salaries, tax, shipping, supplier payments). Type the amount and pick a category; add a note and items if you like.
Linked to your credit book
When you write a payment from a customer, the same money goes into the till; when you write a payment to a supplier, it comes out of the till. If you don’t want that, turn off Add to cash book on the entry screen. When you fix or delete the payment, the cash book entry follows.
End of the day
The day summary in the Reports tab shows the till’s opening, money in, money out and closing. When you count the till in the evening, you see straight away whether the numbers match.

Questions
Is the cash book an official record?
No. It is for your shop’s own tracking; it does not replace official books or accounting records.
Can I add my own categories?
